Welcome to Focustra. By using https://focustra.app and the Focustra desktop application, you agree to the following Terms & Services. Please read them carefully.

1. Introduction

Focustra is a desktop productivity app designed for solo entrepreneurs. These Terms govern your use of our website, software, and services. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use Focustra.

2. Ownership and Intellectual Property Rights

2.1 Ownership of Focustra Software

Focustra and all related software, including but not limited to the desktop application, website, code, graphics, logos, designs, text, and other materials ("Focustra Software"), are owned by Focustra and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. When you purchase a subscription or lifetime license, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Focustra Software for your personal or business productivity purposes in accordance with these Terms.

2.2 Your Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all data, content, and information you create, input, or store using Focustra ("Your Data"). This includes but is not limited to your tasks, projects, activity logs, calendar entries, and any other personal or business information. Focustra does not claim ownership of Your Data. As stated in our Privacy Policy, we store Your Data locally on your device and do not access, share, or sell Your Data.

2.3 License Restrictions

Your license to use Focustra is subject to the following restrictions:

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or create derivative works of the Focustra Software

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Focustra Software

You may not remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices

You may not use Focustra for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

You may not share your account or license with others; each license is for a single user

2.4 Subscription vs. Lifetime Licenses

Subscription License: A monthly subscription grants you access to Focustra for the duration of your active subscription. Access will terminate if your subscription is cancelled or payment fails.

Lifetime License: A lifetime license grants you perpetual access to the version of Focustra available at the time of purchase, including future updates and features. This license is non-transferable and tied to your account.

2.5 Termination of License

If you violate these Terms, your license to use Focustra may be terminated immediately without notice. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Focustra Software and delete all copies from your devices.

4. Purchases, Refunds, and License Access

4.1 Subscription and Lifetime Licenses

When you purchase a subscription or lifetime license, you receive access to the Focustra desktop application and all its features, including activity tracking, focus timers, workflow blocking, analytics, and all other productivity tools. Your license grants you the right to use Focustra in accordance with these Terms (see Section 2 for license restrictions).

4.2 Payment and Billing

Subscription payments are charged monthly and will automatically renew unless cancelled. Lifetime licenses are one-time payments that grant perpetual access. All payments are processed securely through our payment provider.

4.3 Refund Policy

You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase if you do not experience any productivity gains. Refund requests should be sent to focustraapp@gmail.com. Once a refund is processed, your access to Focustra will be terminated and you must cease all use of the software.

5. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes will be handled under UK jurisdiction.

6. Updates to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Users will be notified of any changes via email.
